Notes

Held together with a mysterious yarn what I purchased a long time ago when I first started knitting - so of course I threw away the tag. I have no idea what the brand or yardage is.
All I remember is that it’s a blend of 90% superwashed merino and 10% cashmere (yes it was pricey so I remember!).
I have 2 balls of this yarn which weight about 125g/ball; light fingering/lace weight; color: natural/undyed.

I weight the sweater afterwards and it is 267 grams total.

  • mohair used: 100g (420m/ball/50g).
  • mysterious white yarn: 167g. Since the pattern called for mohair held double, I’m going to assume that I used up about 840-882m of the light fingering yarn.

My gauge came out exactly as called for in the pattern using 3.75mm needles.
I used 3.5mm needles for the 1x1 ribbing on the cuffs and the hem of the sweater.

Project took about 2 months as I knitted this sweater in between other projects.
Super glad to used up my mohair and some of the mysterious yarn. I’m so happy with the result and highly recommend this pattern for beginners.
