I frogged a sweater and washed this yarn.
Repurposed it because it is a very nice yarn and I adore the color very much.
The pattern is easy to follow and I like the neck line.
I have a love/hate relationship with the button band on the left shoulder. I really love how it looks and I love knitting it. However, after blocking, since the button band helps reinforce the shoulder stitches, the left shoulder is very sturdy and the left sleeve is pull up higher.
On the contrary, the right sleeves/shoulder is stretched a little bit more and it falls a bit lower.
It’s not a huge deal and I’m sure nobody can tell that the shoulders are uneven because of this structure. But I know and it does bother me from time to time.
Overall, I really like this sweater and would knit another one - either with button bands on BOTH shoulders; or with no button band at all - TBD.

Update after 1.5 years of having this sweater:
I really like the style. The uneven shoulders I mentioned turned out to not bother me all that much.
However, I tend to wear this sweater at home because I learned that I don’t look my best in blue. It works out perfectly as a lounging piece because the sweater is big and cozy. This makes me wanting to make another sweater but in a color I like/look good in so I can enjoy it outside of my home too.
I still love this yarn, it’s soft and it has a substantial weight in it (which makes up the cozy feeling). I found that it does pill a tad - I do have to de-bobble it every 4-5 wears, especially the underarm and side of the body. I noticed that it pills less as time goes, maybe it will be done pilling at one point. Will update in a year!
