This was my cast-on project for the Ravellenic Games! A decidedly British animal knitted up in decidedly British wool! :) Go Team Owlie!! ♥

Now that George is finished, he’s become my Ravellenic mascot! ♥

TOK 12 in 2012 number 10 - yay! :)

Progress reports
27/7: Lovely wool! Knitting up quickly so far! First hour of the Games is done and I’m a third of the way through the foxy body! :)

28/7: body is done! Now halfway through the tail! :) This wool is just yummy :)

Oh no! Disaster! I thought I had enough angora left over from my tiny cherry blossom hand puff to use on George, but I was sadly mistaken… I’ve had to dip into the stash I had for the 9 to 5 capelet (another Ravellenic contender) and use the Rowan Alpaca I’d gotten specially for that project! Hopefully I will still have enough left over to complete the cape… fingers crossed!!

Body and tail are now completed! :D

Later that same day… Crisis averted! #:-s! I didn’t use much of the Baby Alpaca DK at all :) The head is now completed! George is looking gorgeous-er! ♥

29/7: first leg completed! Both ears completed! Going eye-shopping tomorrow :D

30/7: decided to use some lovely vintage buttons for eyes :) He’s done!! :D
