Was asked by an acquaintance to make a 12 inch by 72 inch scarf for his niece. I told him 12 inches wide was more of a shawl, so we settled on 10 inches, and it ended up 11 inches, so win-win. Total size 11” x 72”.

That said, I crocheted this scarf lengthwise, chaining 225 stitches, then double crocheting into the 4th chain and the rest of the way down. The whole scarf is double crochet with a 3 chain turning chain at every end. Added tons of fringe, (6-inches), which I need to trim even, per his request.
