These are all over the place in sizes and patterns! The pear, apple, 1 of the watermelons, 2 oranges and lemon are Sarah Zimmerman’s pattern (the first pattern linked) and the kiwi and second watermelon are from the second pattern linked which is all single crochet, from Elisa Sartori.
Loved crocheting these and both patterns are awesome. However, I took liberties and added extra rows to some of them to make them bigger, but not all of them, so I’m uneven LOL. I actually crocheted two oranges as you can see in the photos, and one is too small, the other too big, but no big whoop! Next time I’ll make them all the same size.
That being said, I love the tightness of the sc crochet pattern, but don’t love the hexagonal shape to it, which is natural with sc circles.
Finally, I’m not a fan of sewing in details on projects, but I soldiered through the seeds, stems and leaves with gritted teeth and many do-overs.
All in all, although not perfect, and off-kilter, I’m pleased with how they turned out, and hope the birthday girl loves them!
UPDATE 5-15-22 - Added two pineapples (the pattern was purchased on etsy) one all yellow, the other super light yellow and regular yellow dk strands held together. I also added two limes; one big for her giant coffee mug, and one the same size as the orange and lemon above. I didn’t have any lime green so I used a neon green. I wasn’t 100% happy with either limes since one came apart in the center when I was weaving in ends and I had to cobble it back together, and the ribs on the segments for both, were off.
