As always, Jared’s patterns are immaculate. I a really enjoyed knitting these gloves, right up until I hit the fingers.

I opted to extend to full fingers and make them into proper gloves rather than mitts. The four top fingers are great, but the thumbs gave me a ton of trouble. Stranded knitting at such a small gauge and diameter made for many headaches. I am pretty sure my first attempts would have resulted in lost circulation in the owner’s thumbs. I eventually got it right by increasing the needle size and anchoring floats every two stitches. It was a pain, but doable.
