One of my guild-mates died suddenly this year. She had a project on her loom, a baby blanket for her new grand-daughter. To provide closure for the family, one of her friends reached out to the guild to see if anyone could complete the blanket. I’m retired and familiar with overshot weaving, so I volunteered. It took a while for her family to be ready to have me over to weave. But once I was able to start I completed it in a few days. The family is very pleased.
