Notes

More stash-busting scarves in fingering weight. This draft is a 3/1 plaited twill, so it should show off interesting warp patterns.

DimensionsWidthLength
On loom10½“75/76”
Finished9½“68/70”

The plaited twill didn’t show up very clearly. Probably because of the stretchiness of the sock knitting yarn. Also, they curled toward the weft-faced side, also due to stretchiness.

So I tied on the next warp but changed the tie-up to a zig-zag fancy twill. This should tame the curling by being balanced and show the warp and weft off well on each side. Fingers are crossed.

For the fourth pair of scarves on this threading, I am going to do Fibonacci stripes in blue and green: 34/2/21/3/13/5/8/8/5/13/3/21/2/33
