I finished the first pair of socks and because I really like how these turned out, I am knitting a second pair in a beige colour too.

Now I startet a third pair too, in a light beige-melange yarn.

19 - 3 - 2013: I am starting to become a sock knitting addicted: I started a 4th pair of these socks, in a light blue pastel colour. Very comfortable: wool socks…
Finished this pair too.

I have started A TODDLER SIZE (for 13 cm long feet) of this model. With needles nr. 3,5 cast on 30 st. (always the cast on, using 2 Needles for it). Knit k2/p2 for 9 cm. Then continue in stockinette for 1cm and start the heel shaping on (30:2 = 15 - 2) 13 stitches, ofcourse for 1 sock the heel on the right side and for the second sock on the left side.
Continue the heel shaping like in the pattern until there remain 5 stitches. From here on knit in stockinette for 10 cm (starting your count of the cm from the first row of the heel-shaping).
Then proceed to the toe shaping on (30 - 12 = 18:2 =) 9 stitches. Continue like written in the pattern until you will have knit 5 stitches at each side of the toe-half. Then purl one row and cast off.
