The only modification I did is that after the brim I started in garter stitch immediately instead of stockinette, because I don’t like the look when the stockinette is peeking out from under the brim. I also added a little i-cord loop on top of the hat, for fun and for making it less average. But that is not really a modification, more of an addition.

I knit a size medium but would do large next time I make this for a man. I’m writing this pre-blocking though, so I’ll see what it will do with the final size.
