I have struggled quite a bit with the face on this one - trying to get the right look of actual disgust! I THINK that I managed to get a significant look of disgust - there’s a definite eye-roll and a grimace there!
I placed a stitch on one end of her mouth and pulled it up to an anchor point on her head and tightened it until it pulled up one side to form a huffy grimace.
Most dolls are happy…..’Disgust’ is definitely not! :)
I used some scrap purple yarn for her shoes - then didn’t have enough for her scarf! SO….I used a dark, hot pink for her scarf and lipstick. I modified the scarf to be a little more pointed on the ends and thinner in the middle where it attaches to the chained piece.
For her dress embroidery, I used the same yarn as her hair but split it into single strands from the three strands that form the original yarn and carefully stitched random flowers on her dress.

Sew the green iris to the white section of the eye, then sew the black pupil on top of the green.
Sew eye to face.
For her eyelashes - I split the 8ply yarn and used 2 of the three strands. I kept twisting the thread until, when folded in half, the thread would twist on itself. I placed a knot at the base of the eyelash, then stitched them in place individually - three to the outer corner of each eye.
I ran a line of matching green along the top edge of her eye and the skin-colour green around the bottom edge of her eye to act as eyeliner.
