Started with size small, then frogged to do the med/large.
Adding 1” to cuff.

After adding the 1” to the cuff, I took it all out. Instead of a longer ribbing, I added length between the cuff and thumb gusset. For the med/lg size, added an additional 3 rounds of knit (for a total of 6) which was the perfect length. I don’t have large hands, neither does the person I’m gifting these to, and the med/lg fits well.
