A sweet pattern and hat for a sweet woman who just started chemo. This yarn is perfect for next to the skin.

Hard to make a swatch for this project, so based on another person’s, am making this on size 5 needles.

Half-way through I was afraid it would be too small, and then close to the end I thought it would be too big. I ended up frogging the whole project when I was just about done and restarted, because I saw a mistake down low that I couldn’t live with.

The pattern is easy enough, but if you mess up can be tough to fix. The second time around, I had the pattern figured out and was able to finish it quickly.I also knitted tighter the second time which helped the hat fit better. I added an extra 1/2” in length.
