I was anxious to try out the sock yarn I purchased from Saffron Dyework. It’s called Mavi Sock, and is 75% superwash BFL and 25% nylon. The colour is Fossil Lake 2.

The yarn was lovely to knit from, and it produced a pair of nice, soft socks. I knitted with needles size 2.5mm, which is a bit thin for this thin yarn; 2-2.5mm would most likely have been a better choice. Such a nice and lovely yarn would probably be awesome for a cardigan or a sweater, I find it a bit too soft to knit socks with a lot of lace work.
