Notes

The Multnomah shawl is a quite small shawl. However, the pattern has several sizes, and I chose the one that’s knitted to 301 stitches before the lace hem starts. There’s instructions for 3 smaller and 2 larger sizes. This is a shawl I heartily recommend for newbies to shawl knitting, especially if you think it seems intimidating. Multnomah is incredibly easy to knit.

I’ve used Enya sock yarn, 100% merino wool, color “Riverfest”. I spent a little more than one skein; 126 grams. The yarn is shiny and very nice to knit with.
