Used purl method for initial cast on. Good reference here.

Sleeve circumference too small initially. Somehow live stitches were 68 on R and 69 on L. Frogged first sleeve and added stitches to equal XL total of 94 (plus 7-8 under arm and plus 1 between 6 and 7 on both sides of shoulder center). Knit 2” instead on 1.5” before starting decrease.

Knit sleeve length to 17.75” w 34 even rows after decreases. Ribbing is 12 rows.

The sweater required more yarn than the pattern.
