Habe jetzt gemessen. Das Bündchen ist aktuell 107 cm breit. Mhmm.

7.5.25: Wool wound onto a spindle and project created in Ravelry
12.8.25 I’m still unsure whether the measurement given in the magazine is the finished chest circumference of the knitted piece or mine—I wish it would just say so. I’ve now measured it. The cuff is currently 107 cm wide. Hmm. I’ll just keep knitting and hope for the best.

It’s finished! What a beautiful cardigan. But it turned out too long. It’s really hard to judge when you’re knitting from the bottom up. But then again, at 1.63 m, I’m not particularly tall.
Things I would advise others: Do a gauge swatch! In my case, the knitted piece didn’t grow after washing and blocking, but it did become more even. The BC Garn Bio Shetland—my main yarn—looks a bit uneven when knitting, but washing normalized it.
I would also knit the cuff one whole needle size smaller instead of just half a size. That way, it “flies” off a bit at the bottom instead of sitting a little tighter.
