21.6.26: Neues Projekt auf den Nadeln! Die Semilla Melange passt eigentlich nicht ganz - hat 24 Maschen auf 10 cm bei Nadelgröße 3,5-4. Bei Nadelgröße 3 komme ich aber auf die 22 Maschen für den Trelles. Habe genau 4 Knäuel beim Sale gekauft, mehr gab es nicht, weil das Garn aus dem Sortiment genommen wurde. Ich hoffe, es reicht! Bis jetzt ist die Anleitung super easy - Muster ist sehr eingängig und leicht. Nur rechte Maschen, linke Maschen und Maschen abheben.

14.7.26: Es hat natürlich nicht gereicht. Und die gleiche Farbpartie gab es auch nicht mehr. Aber wenn ich mir den fertigen Slipover anschaue, dann gibt es weiter oben auch einen Streifen. Scheinbar hatte ich auch bei den Restknäuel nicht die gleiche Partie? Aber sieht fast schon gewollt aus. Ärmelblenden und Kragen hatte ich zum Glück vorher schon in einem Knäuel der gleichen Farbe beendet.

15.7.26: So, fertig ist das gute Stück. Zeit für etwas Feedback zur Anleitung: Ist gut zu folgen. Ein paar Tippfehler habe ich gefunden, aber das war auch die erste Auflage des Buches. Die sind wahrscheinlich schon raus. Das einzige, was ich anmerken würde: Es wird immer geschrieben, dass man sich notieren soll, wo genau im Muster man ist. Aber wenn es dann zum Zusammensetzen der großen Runde kommt, steht nichts dazu, was man jetzt mit diesen Informationen machen soll. Ich habe dann alle Muster in die gleiche Reihe gebracht und dann erst zur Runde geschlossen. Ansonsten ist das ein warmer Pullunder für kalte Tage. Ich freu mich darauf, ihn im Herbst zu tragen. Ein paar Outfitideen habe ich direkt fotografiert.

June 21, 2026: New project on the needles! The Semilla Melange yarn isn’t quite the right gauge—it has 24 stitches per 10 cm with size 3.5–4 needles. But with size 3 needles, I get the 22 stitches needed for the Trelles pattern. I bought exactly 4 skeins on sale; that was all that was left because the yarn was being discontinued. I hope it’s enough! So far, the pattern is super easy—the motif is very straightforward and simple. Just knit stitches, purl stitches, and slipping stitches.

July 14, 2026: Of course, it wasn’t enough. And they didn’t have any more from the same color lot either. But when I look at the finished slipover, there’s also a stripe higher up. Apparently, the leftover skeins weren’t from the same lot either? But it almost looks intentional. Luckily, I’d already finished the sleeve bands and collar with a skein of the same color.

July 15, 2026: So, the piece is finished. Time for some feedback on the instructions: They’re easy to follow. I found a few typos, but that was the first edition of the book. They’ve probably been corrected by now. The only thing I’d point out: It always says to make a note of exactly where you are in the pattern. But when it comes time to assemble the large round, there’s no explanation of what to do with that information. I ended up lining up all the pattern sections in the same row and only then joined them into a round. Other than that, it’s a warm slipover for cold days. I’m looking forward to wearing it this fall. I took some photos of a few outfit ideas right away.
