Starting mittens for a “mitten tree” as a Prescott Knitters group charitable project. If we gather enough, we’ll display the tree at the 2013 Prescott Farmers Market for World Wide Knit in Public Day.

Afterward they will be donated to Coalition for Compassion and Justice for their “Warm for the Winter” coat & jacket distribution program.

I have NINE pairs made so far. So fun when you need a quick instant gratification knit.
