How much fun to knit mittens and never have to make the same one twice!

I wanted the Latvian Braid to have a snug little bed to sit in so started each mitten with these seven rows and then started the chart at row 4. I added row 7 of my cuff after I finished mitten 8 and liked the results on mitten 9 - 24 better. It seemed to make the top of the number show better.
Cuff alteration:

1. Long tail cast on
2. knit main color
3. purl main color
4. Knit alternating two colors
5. Under purl
6. Over purl
7. knit main color

I used size 0 needles; but anytime there were more than two rows using just one color I switched to 00. The interchangeable Minis sure made that an easy transition. I used 4 inch straights for the thumbs.

I sure hope Cora enjoys finding a piece of chocolate or little toy each morning in anticipation of Christmas!
