Wow, should have learned lifelines a little sooner… I knew the concept and everything, I just didn’t learn the immense value of them until I made mistake after mistake… after mistake (and then some more mistakes). They were always the smallest things like forgetting to psso or yo…sigh. Anyway, it’s done and has been done for a while now! I just need to get some blocking wires so I can block it! We’re getting closer to cool weather and you know what that means! :D

I really like this colorway.
I tried to capture the color of the yarn with the photos. In most of them, the color looks a bit brighter than it really is. I really love the color… It’s a deep wine color overall, but the variegation brings out purples and pinky rose colors too.
I’m immensely impressed with myself. This shawl is pretty breathtaking… I think the colorway, yarn, and pattern go so well together. And it helps that this is my second real lace project, and first shawl.
I can’t believe I didn’t keep track of when I finished this! :( I thought I had written it down on the pattern and I didn’t. So, my finish date is an estimate.. I think I finished it before this date but I know that I at least finished it by then.
