Saw a discounted travel mug in a pound shop and I knew it wanted to become my favourite “sippy cup”. While I waited for some yarn for an upcoming project I filled an evening with using up some leftovers and whipping up something pretty that will make me smile with every sip.

No pattern, made a quick chart and knitted up a small tube with a few increases in the back to accommodate the slight difference between top and bottom, then stuffed it between the inner and outer sides of the mug and gave it to my SO to glue it airtight. Started the tube with provisional cast on and in the end knitted a bottom for it so it wouldn’t slip upwards.
