I usually don’t like slippers, I prefer to stay at home in socks, and this model is just the perfect combinaison for me!!
As my fibre is roving, i didn’t have to fold the thrums, they were chunky enough. Also, when i tried to knit thrums with the yarn as indicated, my stitches weren’t very nice, even if the yarn was hiding behind the thrum, I couldn’t managed to get a nice V. So instead, i simply knit the fiber alone. Much better and simpler.

• Nov 9: Wow, the first sole is done in only a couple of hours, so quick!!

• Nov 10: First slipper and the second sole done! Before bind off, I made a decreasing round (36sts), then knit 4 rounds of garter stitch, and finally I bound off loosely.

• Nov 14: I made about 10 patterns of Ysolda, i never had any problem to understand her instructions, until now. I don’t get the instep, so before making the second slipper, i posted about it on her forum

• Nov 29th: After days working on another project, i’m back to my slippers, and finished the pair in less than a day! A very quick and easy project!! (if you use marker for the instep…)
