I loved this pattern when I saw it yesterday and thought how cozy it could be in a bulky yarn.

I used an 8mm needle. I kept the increases at the same rate as the original pattern but decided to make the holes when there was less stitches. I been the keyholes at 48 sts. Then I used only 8 sts in between each gap/ hole… I continued knitting until I got to the color desired for the cord bindoff.
