I made this using buttons and pieces of other patterns to make this beautiful bonnet. As I couldn’t find one I really liked.
The back is made using the pattern from Wooly Wonders Crochet Heart Pattern.
The dragonfly portion is from a pattern I used while making my caps for St. Jude’s 2017 project. Called Dragonfly Slouchy Hat.
The final part around the face is from Kristen Halloway Designs.
Ties are made from taking 2 pieces of yarn about 36” in length: hooked the center of these two yarns through corner edge of the bonnet (in half) and start twisting them until they start twisting together (the tighter you twist the better), tie all four ends together. And smooth out your twist. Do this again for opposite side. (Or watcha youtube video).
Make two tiny pom-poms (I used a fork and wrapped yarn around till I had the thikness I wanted) and attach to end of each tie.
