Jogless stripes
Update - I tried the jogless stripes for a bit, and they weren’t working (left side of the Instagram photo). I’ve since switched to cutting the yarn with each color change and working each row normally, weaving in ends as I go (right side of the Instagram photo). There’s a jog, but I don’t mind. At least the fabric is smoother with each transition, and there’s no puckering from carrying the unused yarn up the side.

Where there is 1x1 ribbing, I’m doing twisted rib instead. (My 1x1 rib looks like crap.)

When shaping the neckline, I kept 4 more stitches on each side for the shoulders, since my shoulders are narrowish and I was concerned that the neckline as written would either be falling off my shoulders and/or my bra straps would show. Came out perfectly!

Before washing,
6.5 sts = 1” on size 3; 8.75 rows = 1” on size 3
6 sts = 1” on size 4; 8.25 rows = 1” on size 4

After washing,
6.25 sts = 1” on size 3, 8 rows = 1” on size 3
5.75 sts = 1” on size 4, 7.75 rows = 1” on size 4
