Notes

I made the head and torso (almost) as described in pattern. There were some errors in pattern for the feet, which now are corrected in original pattern, so I had to frog the first foot.
I didn’t like how the original feet were shaped. Therefore, I wrote my own pattern for the feet. The new foot is looking more like a shoe. I am happy with how it turned out!

I used striped sock yarn for the sweater. The I-cord is knotted in the ends.

My winter doll is getting a summer doll. Now, it’s may, with summer temperatures! So she didn’t need the hat. It’s warm enough!

I made a crochet cap for the hair, beginning with a magic ring and crocheting in a spiral. 1st rnd: 16 sc into the ring. 2nd rnd: 2 sc in every stitch = 32 sts. 3nd rnd: (1 sc, 2 sc in next stitch) = 48 sts. Then I worked as many rnds as I needed to fit the head (don’t know, maybe 3 or 4 rnds), ending with some ch sts. I put some batting under the cap to make a more rounded head. I “brushed” the mohair yarn a bit with a canvas needle after sewing it to the head, this makes the hair looking quite natural.
The hair cap is mounted with wrong side showing.
