I finished these ages ago but forgot to post! And I’ve only got pictures of the first one.

It’s such a cool construction, and nowhere near as complicated as the pattern makes it seem. It’s a bit fiddly at times, but it’s written out in a series of small sections which are all completely different, so I never got bored and impatient like I usually do with socks on this size needle. :P I used dpns with absolutely no problem, even on the parts with the most stitches. The only downside was how tight they are just above the heel. Once they’re wriggled on they fit my mum perfectly, but I’ll have to play about with needle sizes or adding stitches or something when I get around to making my own pair because these would NOT go on over my heel/instep.

I can’t remember what this yarn was, which is annoying because the colours are great and I want more. It’s Regia, I can tell from the ball band on one of the pictures, but can’t remember exactly what it’s called? Must investigate.
