My husband like the pairs I made for my brother & his wife, and wanted a pair for himself. Since we were about to leave for a ski trip on Monday, it’s a good project to take on the plane and work on in the condo in the evenings.

Since this is my third pair, I’m finally getting the hang of the pattern. I’m following the suggestion of other Ravelers and did Judy’s Magic Cast On, and knitting in the round for the soles. Far less finicky finishing at the end, especially since there are 4 of them. Note that this means that rows 2,4,6 of the sole are purled.

I have been using up stash yarn from a blanket that didn’t happen. Didn’t have enough of the Cascade 220 Olive Oil, so I’m using one strand of that and one strand of the Nature Spun Charcoal for the uppers.

Wove in all the ends & secured the soles last night. All that’s left is the felting & sewing on the foot pads.

I was making a pair of the Clogs for my brother, and he came over for dinner on Apr 21 and we had a “felting party”. Sewed the sole patches on them on about May 13. BTW, the patches were from https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/chasingfireceramics?ref=l2-s...
