I had purchased lots of different sample yarns while my daughter was deciding on the colours for her Afghan, and I’ve gradually been using them up as they are perfect for the Felted Clogs. This will be my forth pair.

Once again, I am planning on modifying the pattern to start with Judy’s Magic Cast On. I’ll be using the Berroco for the base and cuff, and I will use the other three colours in stripes in the upper.

Tips for the stripes:

1. I did the first colour change on Row 2 (the first short Purl row) and every other Purl row.
2. On the last K1 of the Knit rows I captured the floats.
3. The last K1 of the Knit row in each stripe is done in the next colour so that the Slip 1 of the next Purl row are in the same colour.

I’m also going to try raising the back of the heel with some short rows as done by Littlemissentropy and a few others.

Once again, the suede soles are from Etsy.

Both slippers knitted, and ends woven in. Just need to felt ‘em and sew on the shade sole pieces.

Felting was done at the beginning of the month, but it took a while for me to get around to sewing on the sole pieces… who needs slippers in June. Finally finished them yesterday.!
