K 20 rounds 1x1 half twisted rib
Break CC1
Join MC, k3 rounds

Border 1: Join CC2, K1 (CC2), K1 (MC) to end of round.
Border 2: K1 (MC), K1 (CC2) to end of round. Break CC2.
Using MC, k3 rounds.

Using MC and CC3, insert chart x4, changing stitch count of MC “gaps” to fit stitch count.

Border 2: K1 (MC), K1 (CC2) to end of round. Break CC2.

K rounds using MC until you have 80 rounds including cuff.

Using CC1, insert preferred heel, e.g., heel flap & turn

Pick up gusset sts using CC1, continue gusset rounds in CC1 for 5 rounds. Break CC1 and continue gusset then foot in MC.

I added some single stripes part-way down the foot using CC2 with MC then CC2 with CC1 before starting the toe.

I did a “normal” rounded toe, decreasing to 32 sts before grafting.
