I am using size 7 Addi Turbos. For some reason this yarn is NOT wanting to move past the joins.

I have switched over to my Knitterz Pride square interchangeable Size 7 needles. the yarn flows much better over the joins. However the tips just are not sharp enough.

I will be getting a pair of 7 Hiya Hiya sharps to finish this project.

And about the wool. The yarn. Berocco Millefiori Luxe is a lovely yarn and the colors are absolutely beautiful. However I am experiencing some quality issues with the yarn.

The yarn is not the same “weight” all the way through. Some areas of the strands seem closer to a light worsted.

However some sections can get down to as little as lace weight. I am not confident in knitting with these sections. I have simply remedied this by snipping off and then holding the thin section with the new yarn end and knitting with both strands together.

I attribute this quality defect to maybe this was a first run of the yarn. Maybe? However I am not happy with it. If I encounter it again in this ball of yarn I will be snapping a photo to email Berroco. I meant to do it before but I never have my phone handy to snap a photo and I don’t want to stop to go hunt my phone down.

07/24/26 I finally just frogged this whole stupid project. I love the yarn I just do not like this pattern with the yarn. I will redo this pattern with another yarn.
