Scandi Throw for Gabriel

With the border

Border close up

Frogged. Wanted to try SC BLO throughout as opposed to chaining.

SC BLO method is smaller in width and bigger in length

SC BLO on top
Chain method on bottom. You can see how much wider the chain method is

Left is SC BLO
Right is chains

Started it again. Wanted to change the order of the colors.

Progress

The back of the BLO method is much neater. The stitches are more anchored

Carrying the yarn up the side.

I don't chain one on my turning chain. Just turn and SC into the first SC. Straight edges every time.
