This yarn pools into stripes rather than being self-striping. While making this more fun to knit, it made my original idea of a Jane-Monster hybrid not work out. When I just forged ahead with the mock cable, the YO’s did funny things with the way the yarn was pooling and so I just did a stst body to maintain a consistent stripe. Roughly an inch and a half into the body and the yarn is v nice to work with!

In hindsight, the chevrons probably would’ve worked, but I’m pleased with my results anyway. The chevrons may have been too much.
