Prototype for Elurra. This sweater was knit bottom up and without waist shaping, but will otherwise be the same as the pattern.

I’m making another jacket like this, though I skipped the intarsia on the body, and I decided to do snowflakes on the yoke. So not really the same at all, in other words ;)

It’s slow going, but there is no rush.

Aug 3 - finished body.
Aug 29 - Finished sleeves. Hibernating
Sept 23 - Knit sleeves and body together. Project is still on the back burner, but I needed to release some knitting needles.
Des 23; Yes, finally finished colorwork. Nearly there!
Des 25; With half a button band and the neck edge left I am out of yarn!
Des 29; Pinneguri saves the day and gives me half a skein of yarn. Progress is back on track.

Knit the button bands with yarn held double, to make them a little more sturdy. Used 13 buttons. One-row-buttonholes over two stitches. Buttons from Perlehuset.
