Crocheted this baby afgan for soon-to-be-born nephew. First time knitting/crocheting afgan. Was afraid it will take eternity, however it went surprizingly fast (took me several weeks as I was crocheting on my way to/from work). I really love the how it came out, especially the smooth color variation. Used double stranded yarn; 5 rows of 2 strands of pink, 4 rows of 1 std. pink + 1 std. salmon, 4 rows 2 stds. salmon, 4 rows of 1 std. salmon + 1 std. yellow, 2 stds. yellow, 1 yellow + 1 green, 2 green, 1 green + 1 blue, 2 blue, 1 blue + 1 purple, 2 purple.
Future plans are baby socks and baby hat to be knitted from stash of this project.
