This yarn knits up as a heavy fingering weight, not a laceweight. I also do not recommend the sequin version as I had to snip the carrying thread for the sequins quite often as I worked, because it knit up at a different rate than the main yarn. It has a nice halo, however, and looks very good. If you are sensitive to mohair, it has enough mohair content to feel scratchy.
