Fun to knit, fits perfectly! I’ve been wearing the cardigan so often that it is a little bit worn out by now + it has lost its shape over time. I’m considering knitting it again in a different colour.

I also had a little “incident” with the buttons which actually coloured onto the cardigan the first time I washed them. They’re made from wood but I never even thought about the possibility that the colour could leak - but it did. Some ugly, dark-brown stains were the result which took a lot of washing to get out again. After that I had to take off the buttons each time I washed the cardi (which was not that often anymore) and sew them back on again. I can only recommend checking the quality of the buttons, even if you bought them from an expensive shop like I did.

Frogged the project yesterday because it had really stretched a lot and the fit was not nice anymore. I already have some ideas on how I can recycle the yarn, thankfully it didn’t suffer too much.
