This sweater is fantastic for two reasons. First, the pattern is beautiful and unique—I’ve already received quite a few compliments on both the look and the knitting itself. Second, the yarn is infinitely pleasant, incredibly warm even in freezing temperatures, and doesn’t itch at all. It instantly became my favorite sweater.

Getting through the instructions took a bit of effort, but thanks to the friendly and fast support selflessly provided by the DROPS team, it went smoothly in the end.

Since the model in the photo is wearing a scarf that hides the top part, I hoped the neckline would sit a bit higher. It turned out to be quite low/wide, so for winter walks, I pair it with a pink silk scarf. If I were to knit it again, I would probably raise the neckline, though I admit that might ruin the truly beautiful design.

I definitely recommend knitting this superb sweater, and I especially recommend the Hansa Farm Baby Alpaca yarn—it is irresistibly soft.
