This is a prize for the biggest donation to the WIZM Too Chicken To Plunge team. We plunge in LaCrosse (or rather, DON’T plunge) on March 5th.

March 4: An interesting thing happened with this lapghan. On-air this morning, we mentioned the current bid-winner had pledged $150, and to win the lapghan one had to pledge more. By 7 am, the pledge was at $200. Then $300. $325. At 9 am, the bidding closes, and we had a pledge for $400. FOR A LAPGHAN!

And all the money (totaling nearly $3,000 for the morning show folks) goes to the region’s Special Olympics - LOCAL, not spread around so much there’s no difference.
