There was a lot of yarn left over of the Color Affection

and I bought some extra wool to knit a new shawl.
This shawl combines a diagonal shawl (Pterodactyl Polydactyl Scarf,
Diagonapples) with a lace border (
Bella Botanica Shawl ). To break down the diagonal stripes I knitted some horizontal stripes. It looks good after blocking but I wonder if it will stay this way.
