I recently (and by that, I mean a few months ago) watched VintageBeef’s playthrough of Ni No Kuni. If you’ve seen his playthrough, you’ll know why he’s called Mr. Derpy instead of Mr. Drippy.

It was such an adorable game. And it holds truth, if people are broken hearted, they hurt, and they often turn towards darkness. Unfortunately (like in the game), not all broken hearts can be healed.

But ever since the playthrough I’ve been wanting to make my own Drippy. So I finally got around to making my own!

… I’m just not sure if I want to keep him for myself or add him to the donation pile.

My edited notes of the pattern can be found below. Aside from these few edited things, the pattern still follows the original.

BODY:
work up to row 18 with yellow, then switch (19 if you include the first row of 5sc in circle)
20-21work 2 rows of blue
22- sc7, inc around.
23-24 work 2 rows of sc around
25- sc8, inc around.
26-27 work 2 rows of sc around.
28- sc9, inc around.
29-32 sc around.
33- sc9, dec.
34- sc8, dec.
35- sc7, dec.
finish rest of pattern like normal.

LEGS:
8sc in circle. instead of 4 like pattern says. work 9 more rows (10 total)

LANTERN:
After the last row stated in the pattern for the top and bottom part of the lanterns, work 1sc in every st, making sure to either slst or skip the corner stitches for the poasts.
