For the first, I used Persimmon for the K2, p2 ribbed brim. Then I changes to Sea Coral. Since that ombre colorway has such slow color changes, I used it through the decreases to the end. Before the decreases started, I knitted to 6.5” long, because decreasing 10 sts every other round is faster than my usual decrease.
