Notes

This is going to be a blanket for my favourite cousin Denise (Neicey), she is having a hard time at the moment with her health. This blanket is going to be used on her wheelchair when she attends her daughters graduation in November.

So I had better get a move on!

I have already given her this throw and she wanted a smaller one in similar colours and style.

I have made this one before here.

I may change the pattern panels around a bit. You can do that with Bonnie’s patterns. I have left out the heart panel on this one.

For tutorials of how to do the stitches in Bonnies patterns, see her YouTube videos.

I have decided to be brave and to try the Celtic Weave again. The last time wasn’t too easy, but after having to frog a whole days work and having the benefit of Bonnies tutorial, I think I have mastered it this time.

I really enjoyed the challenge of the Celtic Weave and got a little carried away with it in the end.

This blanket is finished. I am very pleased with the end result and I am definitely going to make another one with the Celtic Weave for myself (as if I need another blanket)!!!

My other cousin Sue (Neicey’s sister has asked for the pattern and is going to try to make one too. I have offered to make it for her, any excuse!

Just got to photograph it and post it to her. Now I must get on with my Noah’s Ark blanket, new grandson only a few days away now, so I have to make the appliques and sew them on before he makes an appearance.

You can view all of my previous ones from the Aran Throw tab at the top of my project page here.
