I thought I would have a go at this blanket.

I already had a few 4 round granny squares left over from this blanket, so though I would use them up.

I used a 3.50mm hook to make the 2 round squares and the first round of granny stitches after, as mine tend to splay out a bit, making the blanket pucker.

I used 3.75mm hook for everything else.

As I wanted mine to be smaller, suitable for a lap or baby blanket. I stopped after the first round of 2 round grannies of section 7 and finished off with 4 rounds of granny stitches in white and one round of crab stitch in lapis.
