Blanket No: 14 of the 2018-2019 Stash-down Blanket Extravaganza. This one is in Cath Kidston colours using up a few balls of the unwanted stash yarn that dd Libby and I have accumulated.

I played yarn chicken with the blue on this one, using up every last scrap.

A nice bright blanket to add to the pile.

I am gradually gifting these blankets to family and friends, the rest will probably go to a local Convent where they nurse the elderly.

I use Bunny Mummy’s technique for the first round of border here. So no ruffle edging.

Border:

1-4 Granny clusters
5 3 dc in corner, (sl st into next space between clusters, ch3 2dc), repeat all around.
