I recently made a pink and white version of this blanket, so I thought I would make a blue one too.

This is a nice blanket for a newborn, the fabric is very soft.

Border:

Round 1. Dolphin Blue 3 sc in corners, ch 2, sc in space between clusters.
Round 2. Dolphin Blue 2 sc in corners 2 sc in each chain 2 space.
Round 3. Duck Egg Blue 3 sc in corners, 1 sc in each stitch.
Round 4. White 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in corner. Crossed dc all around.
Round 5. Duck Egg Blue, 3sc in corner chain 2 space, sc all around.
Round 6, White Sames as Round 4.
Round 7. Duck Egg, same as round 5.
Round 8. Dolphin Blue Crab stitch.
