This blanket is going to be for my youngest grandson Oscar. I have already made Mario for his older brother Sonny, so they will have a matching pair for their bunk beds, to keep them warm this winter.

I am making 2 round granny squares and using the join as you go method to join the squares. There is a great tutorial for this here

I found the pattern on Pinterest, it is a bead pattern and it has worked a treat for Sonny’s blanket.

So glad to have this finished, having made Mario and Luigi, I am Super Mario’d out!!
