Another star blanket. I’m making this to put in my stash. There are 6 new babies due this year to family and friends. I know at least 4 are girls and have partially made a heart blanket for each of them. The other two are unknown at the moment, so I thought I would make a couple of blue blankets in case they turn out to be boys.

I’m making the smaller star blanket. I have made the larger blankets before here, but they are a little large for the buggy, so I scaled it down a bit.

I have added my written notes in case anyone is interested.

I start top down so I can leave the final panel until the baby is born and I know the name to be added.

At last, a baby boy. All the rest have been girls.

Baby Oakley Frederick who was born on the 26th August 2023, weighing 7lbs 15 oz.
