I thought I would make a unicorn for my great nieces Connie and Abigail for Christmas.

I found this adorable tutorial on Youtube here They were quite simple to make.

There is a written pattern for the head and body on his blog here, the rest is in the tutorial

I changed a couple of things of course. I made the horn in a spiral in back loop of each stitch, increasing every 4 sts until I got to the right size.

I made curly cues for the mane instead of using strands of yarn, it thought it looked neater. I just made them by chaining 32 and placing 3 sc’s in each chain.

In all, a very enjoyable project and I think that Connie and Abgail will like their new unicorns.

I may make another one for my other great niece if I get the time.
